BAWAT signs agreement with BOSKALIS

BAWAT A/S has signed a Cooperation and Supply Agreement with BOSKALIS B.V.
The Agreement covers a turn-key pilot project with option for fleet agreement retrofitting Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers with BAWAT’s Ballast Water Management System (BWMS). The Agreement represents an important milestone for BAWAT.
“Signing a contract with a renowned company as BOSKALIS is recognition of BAWAT and our unique technology”, says Kim Diederichsen, CEO BAWAT A/S.
The pilot project covers system supply and installation of a BAWAT BWMS onboard a 7.300 DWT Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger. System installation and commissioning is ongoing and scheduled to be completed by mid-December 2017.
Bawat’s Ballast Water Management System is being viewed as a most promising candidate to underpin Europe's competitiveness in the global marketplace.
